I try to really encourage people to dare changing things up to really make their amigurumi unique! I often do this myself when I’m working on a fan art project; using mostly one pattern that I customize with different colors, like my Menagerie pattern when making different characters.
Today I wanted to suggest a fun little variation to my last pattern the tiny teacup. The pattern is available for free here on the blog, or as a PDF download for a few dollars on Ravelry!
Tiny Witch’s Brew!
First I picked colors that are pretty common around Halloween!
I chose to make three tiny potions using purple, orange and black.
I also decided to use a « poison » green for the beverage!
I wish I could have found some glow in the dark yarn for this!
I did however find glow in the dark eyes that I decided to use for my tiny black cup of potion!
I could have changed up the handle a bit to make it smaller and adding two of those to the cup to make a tiny cauldron… but I decided to stick with the teacup for now.
And finally I decided to make a tiny pumpkin teacup! A real Halloween classic for sure!
For this one I simply embroidered triangle eyes with a tiny yellow light in the center and embroidered the mouth in black as well.
It’s my absolute favorite!
