Gauge and instructions
You can easily adjust the pattern to fit any head, just make sure your starting chain fits well around the head. For reference, the starting chain here is about 19,69 in long and fits 20-22 inches head circumferences just fine depending on the type of yarn you use and how it stretches.

Gauge and instructions
Gauge isn’t important as long as you make sure to use the appropriate hook for your yarn so that the stuffing doesn’t show through the stitches. All parts are worked continuously so that you don’t have to join at the beginning of each round. Be careful to count the stitches as you go or use a marker.
Instructions
Head and body
Round 1) With white, work 6 sc in a magic ring (6)
Round 2) 2sc around (12)
Round 3) *2sc, sc* around (18)
Round 4) *2sc, sc in next 2* around (24)
Rounds 5-9) sc around (24 sts – 5 rounds)
Round 10) *2sc-tog, sc* around (16)
Insert safety eyes between rounds 6 and 7 with a 4-5 sts gap in between. You can also embroider the orange nose and three dots for the mouth.
Round 11) 2sc-tog around (8) Stuff head firmly.
Round 12) sc around (8)
Round 13) 2sc around (16)
Rounds 14-20) sc around (16 sts – 7 rounds)
Round 21) 2sc-tog in the back loop only, around (8) Stuff firmly.
Round 22) 2sc-tog until opening is closed. Finish off, weave in ends.
Top Hat
Round 1) With black, work 6 sc in a magic ring and join to work in the round (6)
Round 2) 2sc around (12)
Round 3) sctbl around (12)
Rounds 4-6) sc around (12 stitches – 3 rounds) You can stuff the hat very lightly.
Round 7) 2HDC in the front loop only, around (24) Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing the hat on the snowman’s head. You can add a contrasting strand of yarn at the bottom of the hat, before the brim.
Scarf
Row 1) With red chain 20 and finish off. Weave in ends and knot the scarf around the neck of the snowman.
