After our yearly visit to the local renaissance fair (la Feste médiévale de Saint-Marcelin) I decided to make a new custom doll and dress her up as my teenager’s cosplay character for the event. I loved making the doll so much that I decided to actually create a whole new pattern collection!
At first I was going to use my Little Menagerie pattern as a base, like I usually do for custom mini dolls.
However, the amount of details was going to be a problem… so I opted to create a bigger mini doll!
It wasn’t the first time that the mini’s scale made a project difficult and even if I still adore them, I’ve been getting quite a few requests for larger custom dolls… both so I can include more details and also so that the doll is a little bit less easy to misplace lol!
So I created this 5 inches tall doll that is now available for your custom orders #OurCrochetUniverse!
Of course the doll is only half as adorable as the inspiration source!
Pattern includes instructions for the doll, dress, apron, shoes, hat and a little picture tutorial for the glasses!
Of course it was inevitable that I would work on different costumes and by the time this pattern was ready to come out, I already had a second outfit ready as well! And my head is full of futur cosplay ideas!
