A new pattern for the « Fantasy Cosplay Crochet Adventures » collection!

Once I was done with the « Like a Dragon » fan art project, it was time to come back to my « Fantasy Cosplay Crochet Adventures! » collection. At first, I was unsure what I wanted to do, but I kept coming back to a character with a giant book… or a whole book collection!
One sketch later I was already selecting the colors in my yarn stash! I don’t know why, but when I think books I ofter think about owls…
This has probably NOTHING to do with the cartoons I watched during my formative years… lol!
When it came to the design, I did hesitate a bit . At first I was going to make it a simple hat, but I was not getting the shape I wanted. Then I thought I could just replicate the alchemist’s hood and add some feather tuffs… but I really didn’t want to do that.
In the end I went with a different kind of hood!
My plan for this pattern collection is that all the patterns add something different so that once I’m done, you will have a ton of different options to create your very own characters!
Indeed, the doll itself is the same for all these patterns, which means all the clothes and hair options can be mixed and matched!
While talking to one of my testers, we figured that this character was really some sort of book keeper… and probably also a owlbear wildshaped druid.
I was going to call this pattern « The BooK Keeper », but I didn’t want all the « accountant » vibes… which is why I went with « The Lore Keeper »!
Of course I also had to include a tiny (huge) book with the pattern!
