A sock for all tiny feet!

*** This is an older pattern that will now be available free right here or paid via Ravelry ***

Jokes aside, you’ll find here my pattern for fairy socks! Use them as keychains, for dolls or even… hedgehogs! No, really! Check out the Ravelry project page for proof lol!

How did I come up with this little pattern? Back when I first published this, I was looking for trinkets to sell at craft fair and I thought this would be very cute! It was also a way for me to use up all the tiny amount of leftover yarn I had.

So grab your leftover yarn and get to it!

Abbreviations
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
2sc – two single crochet in the same stitch (+1)
2sc-tog – single crochet two stitches together (-1)
CC1 – color of choice 1 (shown in green/yellow)
CC2 – color of choice 2 (shown in cream)
Material
3 mm crochet hook
Scrap yarn (2 colors) for mini sock in
fingering weight (the bigger the yarn,
bigger the sock)
yarn needle

Gauge & instructions
Gauge isn’t important as long as you make sure to use the appropriate hook for your yarn. All
parts are worked in a continuous round meaning that you don’t have to join at the beginning of
each round so be careful to use a marker or count your stitches.

Tiny sock (3mm)
Round 1) With CC1, work 4 sc in magic ring (4)
Round 2) 2sc around (8) Change to CC2.
Round 3-5) sc around (8)
Round 6) sc x 2, ch 3 skip 3, sc x 3 (8) This forms your heel opening, you’ll come back to it at the
end.
Round 7) sc around, including in each ch (8)
Round 8-9) sc around (8) Change to CC1.
Round 10) sc around (8) Finish off and weave in ends after last round.

Heel – Rejoin CC1 to the side of the heel opening and work the following round:
Round 1) 2sc-tog around (4) Finish off, sew heel closed and weave in ends.

And voilà!
