If you’ve been around here for a bit, you might be familiar with my fan art projects and by now you also might have a pretty good idea what sort of video games I like… Well, this is going to be a little different. Indeed, Stardew Valley, the adorable cozy pixel game has made it’s debut in our home!

That was a few weeks before my daughter asked for a goose amigurumi, which ended up spawning a whole pattern that includes 12 different bird species… Side note: I’m very proud of that pattern lol!

When I game my daugther the now infamous goose (Silly Da Goose), she immediatly asked for a blue Stardew Valley chicken.

That request sent me into a seemingly unending quest to make all of the birds and resulted in the Pocket Birds of North America pattern.

I made a plain brown chicken first, to get my bearings, but quickly moved on to the blue one…

I was very happy to have my Catona sampler with me, it made it quite easy to select the perfect colors for this little cutie!

When I showed her, my friend Cristal (Fil de Cristal), told me I should also make her the black chicken… and the golden one… and my daughter now has a collection of chicken proudly displayed with her Switch console. Which is very ironic given that the Switch is the only plateform where we do not have a copy of the game lol!

Are you a fan of Stardew Valley? Personnally, I am a huge fan of all my little chickens!!
