As I am writting this, I’m wrapping up my second BG3 playthrough… but my crochet fan art adventure is far from over.

In the last blog post I shared the beginning of the first six dolls inspired by the first companions who can join your character at the start of BG3… and they are still waiting for their hair and assembly. Let’s just say that I am not a fan of assembly and finishing touches so I figured I was at rist of loosing all motivation, what with about 10 characters to represent.

So if all the dolls and parts are done, there’ll be more incentive for me to actually get through the project so I don’t remain stuck with a bunch of unfinished dolls and doll parts.

Simple embroidery!

For this second series of dolls I first decided to make Hailsin. This passionate druid who can join us a bit later is really a character that I liked during my BG3 playthrough!

Of course going into much details was hard, but I ended up quite pleased with the overall result… let’s see if that good impression remains once I give him some hair!

Then I turned to a character that has been with us since the beginning of the serie, starting back in Baldur’s Gate I, the one and only sassy druid Jaheira!

I know the doll version doesn’t look like much for now, but I’m hoping once I get the hair done it will come together.

I was glad when I stumbled upon Jaheira during my BG3 playthrough, I love her attitude and I felt like I was catching up with an old friend!

A bit of… paint?
