Since we made the jump to Netflix, us parents aren’t the only one discovering new series and one of the series our kids really got pulled into is Miraculous Ladybug.
I’ll let you google it for the whole series synopsis, but I have to admit that the kids have been into much worse mindless and boring shows. I’ve caught their dad getting stuck in the living room because he actually wanted to know what came next for the magic yo-yo wielding heroine… lol! What I personally love about this series is that the heros are imperfect, make sometimes grave mistakes and have to deal with the consequences.
Recently the girls have been rewatching all three seasons and since I was already elbow deep into my fan art projects… I figured I could probably make a tiny Ladybug and Chat Noir! I am especially happy with how Chat Noir’s hair turned out!
My only regret is that I didn’t think to use colored eyes instead of the usual black… still, I’m fairly certain I’m going to be making a little girl very happy! I have to admit though that I still haven’t found the courage to craft them little masks to protect their identities. However, considering the speed at which these tiny dolls disappeared from my work station… I think I can say this whole thing was a success!
Is there a series you’ve been surprised to actually like?
